يعتبر أبو الوليد الباجي في مقدمة الشخصيات الأندلسية التي استحوذت على تفكيري لفترة من الوقت، إلا أنّ انشغالي في أعمال أخرى حال دون الكتابة عنه، وعند ما شاء الله كان هذا البحث، الذي آمل أن أكون من خلاله قد وفيت هذا العالم حقه، وقد جعلته في قسمين اثنين هما:

Abu-Walid Al-Baji has been one of the Andalusi leading figures I have been thinking about. However, the many activities I have been dealing with have prevented me from writing on this figure. When Alla willed, I wrote this researh which I hope would have justified this scholar. It is divided into two sections:
